City Targets Absoprtion of 2016 APBD to Reach 90 Percent

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama is optimistic absorption of 2016 City Budget (APBD) to reach 90 percent or about Rp 67.1 trillion. Moreover, a number of procurement using consolidation auction and e-catalog which is faster than through auction stage.

He disclosed that this year's budget absorption will be faster because several activities through consolidation auction. Thus there is no longer activity with small value.

E-Budgeting System will Be Upgraded

"This year the budget absorption will be faster. Last year, we hit 72 percent after APBD Amendment," he expressed.

Several activities through e-catalog at the Government Procurement Regulatory Body (LKPP). By doing so, the procurement is not through an auction process in Jakarta Goods and Services Procurement Agency (BPPBJ) and faster process.

"Many items can be purchased via the e-catalog as well," he closed.
